As some of you may know, Rick has recently been diagnosed with tongue cancer and is currently undergoing chemo treatment at UVA in Charlottesville for the next 9 weeks. He will be able to take the treatments at home with subsequent follow up appointments at UVA. These treatments will be followed up by radiation therapy for about 7 weeks. We are all upbeat and confident that he will eventually be okay but due to the effects of the treatments the 2011-2012 racing schedule will be on a week to week basis. It is Rick's desire to get as many of the races in as he can but obviously his health comes first.
