Frenchy Wins Black Friday




Brad "Frenchy" Bennington of Winchester, Virginia survived the largest field ever assembled at The Cave Friday night claiming the 3rd Annual Black Friday 100. Steve Welsh of Berkley Springs, West Virginia started off the night with fast time of the 23 cars with a time of 2.487 seconds earning him the pole position in Heat #1. Welsh could not convert pole position into a transfer spot as Bennington would win the heat to earn the pole for the feature. Other heat winners were Joe Shifflett, Jason Lineweaver, and J.P. Welsh.

Null Machine Shop Heat #2


Joe Shifflett, Mike Parrill, Sr., Matt Williamson, Tyler Williamson, Mikey Franklin, and Nick Canfield.




Dark Moon Technologies Heat #3


Jason Lineweaver, Trevor Feathers, Lee Canfield, Mike Franklin, Budd Reitnauer, and Aaron Seal.




RWR Dirt Late Model Bodies Heat #4


J. P. Welsh, Andrew Tyson, Dwain Welsh, Tim Andrews, and Jeremy Tinsman.




E-Main action saw 7 lead changes in 50 laps with Nick Canfield edging out Jeremy Tinsman for the win. D-Main had Mikey Franklin taking the top spot with a Lap 9 pass of Poppa Mike for the win. C-Main saw Tyler Williamson taking the lead on Lap 38 to secure the transfer to the B. B-Main had Steve Welsh and Tyler Williamson finishing 1st and 2nd to transfer to the feature. With six lead changes among 4 different drivers this one set the stage for the main event. The Feature had six lead changes among three different drivers. Lap Leaders were: J.P. Welsh (Laps 1-3); Frenchy (Laps 4-54); Joe Shifflett (Laps 55-70); J.P. Welsh (Laps 71-74); and Frenchy (Laps 75-100).
